The Blues Restaurant wasn’t opened during our stay, but I’ve heard that the Live Music Nights on Thursdays are particularly popular with locals. Be sure to try the tuna poke bowl for lunch, and lobster croquette and grilled prawns at sunset! Prices are not cheap, but the fresh seafood are definitely worth the price. The Pen is its main restaurant that’s set right on the beach, with an open-air breezy terrace. The hotel has two restaurants and several bars spread over a large area. This is an adults-only wing, which definitely gives couples the private, romantic ambiance they’re looking for. Wooden suites that stand on stilts over the Caribbean Sea, almost like overwater bungalows. Lastly, the Caribbean Ocean Front Blues wing are the hotel’s newest addition. They are also slick and stylish, furnished with the trendiest decor. The Octagon rooms are housed in the modern buildings surrounding the hotel’s pool, restaurant and fitness centre. The rooms are on the small end, but facilities are high-end and brand new. We stayed at the La Belle Alliance wing and had a comfortable oceanfront double room, steps from the beach. The classic La Belle Alliance rooms (pictured) are in the hotel’s original building and have been renovated into contemporary, stylish rooms. Since its opening, the hotel has transformed from an 18-room guesthouse to 150-room luxury hotel.
